Amazon’s Relational Database Service (RDS) has officially opened to all users after three years of only being available to chosen Amazon Web Services customers.

Amazon’s grocery delivery service is also seeing huge demand as more people order groceries online. The company said Sunday that it won’t accept new customers for its Amazon Fresh grocery delivery service and will place them on a waitlist. Amazon is reserving some shopping hours at its Whole Foods grocery stores so that online delivery orders can be fulfilled.

Amazon’s relationship with the United States Postal Service for deliveries that has come under political scrutiny, and it is looking to take control of more of the process. Last year it unveiled a new program to help people start their own delivery businesses. And this holiday season it hired a fleet of seasonal drivers to help deliver packages.

Amazon’s first building in the Denny Triangle?— the 36-story Doppler?tower — opened in late 2015. That was followed late last year by the opening of the Day One tower, on the same block as the spheres. Construction is underway on the third block across from?Day One and the Doppler tower.?On another?full-block?site, formerly home to the Hurricane Cafe, Amazon plans to build a 23-story building and an 8-story structure in the future.
